1992 Ruger MKII Palma Rifle in 308 Win; #88-000xxx. This is a single shot action with extended barrel threads and special match trigger. Has walnut target stock with adjustable cheek and butt plate. Comes in Ruger hard case with Warner receiver sight and Anschutz 18mm front sight. Rifle is one of 25 that Bill Ruger donated for the 1992 Palma matches in Raton, NM. Bill Atkingson assembled rifles at the Arizona plant. These Rifles were issued to the 92 US Palma team to late to be fully tested and only a few were actually used in the match. Rifle comes with two boxes (40 rounds) of original ammo from the matches, 92 Palma head stamp. Jensons in Phoenix assembled only 25000 rds and most were expend at the 92 Palma matches by all countries participating. |
