The following is a general guide for work performed by LPR. This list does not cover all work performed here, but is does contain an overview of the most common jobs.

Estimates and Deposits
To look at your gun in shop, make suggestions or keep overnight with no repairs performed: Minimum of $25
Written Estimate: Minimum of $45
Deposit on Special items or to hold an item:  50%

New Barrel Work That Can Be Performed
– A variety of Krieger, Brux, Douglas Stainless Steel and Chro-Moly
– Installing Pre-Contoured Barrels – Fitting and Polishing
– Chambering and Fitting 30″ Stainless Steel Palma
– Chambering and Fitting Standard Contours – 26″ – 30″
– Special Bore, Groove, or Twist Barrels May Need To Be Ordered(Extended Lead Times Should Be Expected)
– Chambering of Large cartridge cases such as RUMs, 338 Lapua, 50 Cal, Etc Will Be Additional Cost

Special Breech Cuts Can Be Performed
– Bolt Recess (Remington 700, etc.)
– Extractor Cuts (Remington 37, Winchester 52, etc.)
– Bolt Recess and Extractors (Winchester Pre 64, etc.)
– Ruger No1s and Other Single Shot Extractor Cuts

Re-Chambering Barrels Can Be Performed
– Barrel set back, Rechambered, Retimed (Bolt extractor cuts, holes, extra)
– Chamber, Thread and Fit Customer’s barrel (holes, extractors extra)
– Fit Chambered and Threaded barrel (holes, extractors extra)

– Special Throating
– Turn Special Barrel Contours from blank (average cost)
– Turn For Front Sight Barrel Band
– Mill Barrel for LPR Switch Barrel System (Hex or flats)
– Mill Savage Factory Barrel for LPR Switch Barrel System(using two nuts for headspace)
– M1 Garand, M1A, AR-10, AR-15, 1903 & 1903A3 Springfield, 1917 Enfield, M98 Mauser barrels: Please call or email for price
– Fit Unchambered Barrel to M1 Garand, M1A, AR-10, AR-15, 1903 & 1903A3 Springfield, 1917 Enfield (Does not include cost of barrel)
– Fit short chambered barrel to M1 Garand, M1A, AR-10, AR-15, 1903 and 1903A3 Springfield, 1917 Enfield (Does not include cost of barrel) and reinstall sights
– It should be noted that barrel jobs take top priority.

All barrel work will be returned to the customer in the timeliest possible manner.

– Open Inletting and Bedding No Pillars

– Install Adjustable Butt Plate

General Work
– Proof fire with factory load or in house hand load
– Check Headspace
– Inspect Barrel with Bore Scope
– Chamber Casting (Not for return to customer, measurements only)
– Diamond Lap Barrel or Remove Fouling
– Trigger Job (Bolt Gun, M1 or M1A)
– Clean and Oil
– Range test or Sight-in (Not including ammunition)
– Mount Scope and Base, then Bore Sight
– Cut Dovetails
– Pull Ball and Load from Muzzleloader (Minimum Cost)
